My neighbor had to buy a truck from them. He was not happy, but his engine blew up going over 4th of July pass so he kind of needed a new truck.

Not only did she not care for the kids (who are now grown and running the business) but I guess they did a bait and switch on her dad that ended up in court. Of course since judges are elected and know where to go to for money in the Silver Valley you can guess how that turned out.

It’s set up a quandary for my wife since she really likes Infinitis, she says they’re nice without being too nice, and Dave Smith took over as the local Infiniti dealer. Either she’s going to have to buy used, go to Seattle to buy new or get over her image of Lexus owners.

She thinks Lexus is too bougie. She won’t even entertain thoughts of German cars, but at the same time doesn’t want domestic. Shopping for cars with her is not fun.

Interesting, somehow Dave Smith seems to be the largest FCA dealer by volume now.

They were one of the first dealers to really embrace the internet, and given their location it makes a ton of sense. Kellogg Idaho can’t support that many vehicle sales.
